Sulley Muntari gives his shirt to a Chievo ball boy, ball boy tries to give it back .

Summmary:
A soccer player Sulley Muntari had a tough game with his team against their opponents. It was long game, but Muntari's team got the victory. His team won the game by one point, the score was 1-0. Muntari was the one who scored that one goal, he was had great feeling after his game because he was basically the reason for the defeat. He decided to give his shirt to a young boy, probably thinking that the boy was going to very excited and grateful to have it, instead the young boy followed Muntari and tried to give him the shirt back. Muntari refused to take it back, the young boy didn't smile or grin, he just tried to return the shirt.

Reflection:
I believe that Muntari probably was shocked that the young boy didn't want his shirt, especially after he did a good job in his game. If that was to happen to me, I probably would try to play it off as well, but one thing I would have done that Muntari didn't do is I would have taken my shirt back, after the young boy tried to return it, and just either kept it or gave it away to another fan. I would feel a little hurt inside, simply because it happened in public but I believe the young boy just didn't understand. He probably was trying to be rude or mean, he probably just didn't know what to do with shirt.

Question:
How you feel if this had happened to you ?

Succes or Failure.

"If one asks for success, and prepares for failure, he will get the situation he has prepared for."
Florence S. Shinn

I take this as you really want to do something, but have it made up in your mind that you are not going to be successful in it or if you doubt yourself, then you will not accomplish what you attended to do. For example, I have a track meet today and I want to win my race, but If I had it made up in my mind that Im going to lose, then more than likely I will. All Im trying to say is, think positive.

RIP Trayvon Martin

To Trayvon’s Parents:
Hey , I am really sorry that such a thing has happened to your son. I am not quite sure what type of person he was, but good or bad, that should not have happened to him. I am praying for his soul, and of course your family. I am a student from Jim Hill High School in Jackson, Mississippi that is concerned and hoping the best for you guys. I disagree with what Zimmerman did, he was wrong, completely wrong. I doubt that Trayvon was intending to anything wrong, I believe he was just trying to get to shelter and out of the rain. Zimmerman took it upon himself to follow him, and to do what he did, therefor he should be in jail. Sentenced life, because he took Trayvon’s. Yes, he may have been defending himself, but Im pretty sure that Trayvon was defending himself too. Zimmerman is the one who decided to pull the trigger, when clearly it wasn’t necessary. All Trayvon had was a pack of skittles and a bottle of ice tea, no weapon or anything of that nature. What much could a 17 year old do with a pack of skittles and a bottle of tea, in the rain ? It is clear that Zimmerman is wrong, he should not still be in his house, living his life as he was before after he did such a horrible thing. One thing I noticed is that Zimmerman said that he felt threatened by Trayvon, but if he was so threatened by him, why did he get out of his car to follow him ? Its quite obvious that he was not threatened or afraid, because if I was afraid of something, there is no way I would follow it. Also, I heard that Zimmerman said some negative things to the police officer over the phone, which clarifies that he labeled Trayvon in a bad based of his color, and how he was dressed. No matter what color you are, or what you have on, there is no reason for anybody to murdered. Not only did this situation affect Trayvon’s life, it affected you, your family, and many others around the country of America.

Becoming a Senior

Its getting to the end of my junior year, and in just a few months I will be senior in high school. I am beginning to become more focus in school, trying my best to maintain good grades. I know that I need at least a 2.5 to leave school early next year. I would like to have a much higher GPA before my senior year is over. Im taking my ACT in April, and I pray that I have an awesome score so that I will not have to take it more than once. Hopefully I have a great score and a good GPA by the end of my senior year so that I get accepted into one top schools I picked. My number one school as of now is Georgia Tech University.

For juniors, are you excited for your senior year ?
For seniors, were you ready for your senior year ?

So, tomorrow is my first track meet running with Jim Hill. We are going to Pearl, I believe we are running against Pearl, Madison Central and Northwest Rankin. I always loved running, and I was been a fast runner so Im very excited. Im just a little nervous because I haven't ran in a track meet in a while, but I believe I will do good. We are meeting up at the school tomorrow morning at 9:30 and then we are leaving at 9:45. I have no idea if my race will be first or last. I will be running the 4x1 and the 100 race, I pray the I do great.

Worry

"worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow ; it empties today of its strength"

I believe that this is saying that if you worry about something today, its not going to solve anything that may go on tomorrow, but it will cause you to lose the confidence or strength you may have today.

What does this statement mean to you ?
